Commencement your review of Deadpool Kills the Curiosity Universe Once again

Equally much equally I normally savour Cullen Bunn's work, and every bit much as I normally savor Deadpool-craziness, I really didn't enjoy this book.

Peradventure it was because the only way Deadpool could actually kill all the Curiosity heroes and villains would be if all their IQs suddenly dropped by a hundred-odd points... and, sure plenty, that's exactly how all the characters act in this volume.

For Deadpool completists simply...

Every bit much as I unremarkably enjoy Cullen Bunn'south piece of work, and as much as I ordinarily savour Deadpool-craziness, I really didn't bask this book.

Perhaps it was because the only way Deadpool could really kill all the Marvel heroes and villains would exist if all their IQs all of a sudden dropped by a hundred-odd points... and, certain enough, that's exactly how all the characters act in this volume.

For Deadpool completists only...

Deadpool is brainwashed into killing off all the heroes of the Curiosity universe. Very dark humor inside. It's interesting to meet what Deadpool is thinking is happening in that messed up brain of his while he's creatively killing off the spandex crowd of the Marvel universe. This one was slightly improve than the terminal. Y'all can see Deadpool's anger, and this one feels more than in grapheme than the other. Deadpool is extremely loyal, so I don't see him willingly killing his friends. This is still a kinda one off, not a necessary book to read, so unless you actually similar Deadpool, like to read everything Marvel, or picked up the beginning one, it may not fifty-fifty be on your radar. Step aside Wolverine, there's a new mind-controlled teamkiller in boondocks! Except this one isn't going to grow quondam on a farm while the earth'south baddies run amok for l years. He's going to be a little quicker virtually getting payback.

As far as supervillain schemes become, brainwashing just i guy into taking out the world's heroes feels a little one-half baked and kinda lazy. First off, it'south already a chance when the guy they picked has a volatile brain to brainstorm with, what with all the regenerating tissue

Stride aside Wolverine, there's a new heed-controlled teamkiller in town! Except this one isn't going to grow old on a farm while the world's baddies run amok for fifty years. He'south going to be a trivial quicker nigh getting payback.

Every bit far as supervillain schemes become, brainwashing merely one guy into taking out the earth's heroes feels a little one-half broiled and kinda lazy. Kickoff off, it's already a gamble when the guy they picked has a volatile brain to begin with, what with all the regenerating tissue and overall nuttiness. So they're really simply crossing their fingers that this new pawn of theirs tin take downwards hundreds of heroes, many with with vastly superior skillsets. And to top it off, they don't put a neglect safe in place in instance their guy goes rogue? This isn't Marvel's villains at their finest.

Also, why you gotta do my male child Grand.O.D.O.Yard. like that?

This time effectually, Deadpool killing the Marvel Universe seems even more contrived than last time. Instead of showcasing u.s. the creative means in which Deadpool disposes of the likes of Thor and Luke Cage, many times we're only shown the bloody backwash. Both the villains and heroes are more than organized than terminal time and should be able to acceleration their merc problem with a fiddling brainpower and a strategy that doesn't boil down to "walk up to Deadpool and announce your plans to fight." Just since it'south a Deadpool Kills title they all just sorta flop effectually frantically and die.

Inferior to the original, but still a fairly enjoyable bloodbath.

It was surprisingly an ok story with some fun moments, some yeah-seen-it-again on the previous mini-serial moments and some great artwork!

Someone is killing heros, the bodycount is rising at an alarming rate. but who is doing it?

Deadpool - nether powerful mind control, he's been brainwashed (recollect Wintertime Soldier) by the bad guys. Can anyone stop him - or turn his attention of the villians?

Wasn't as groovy on the artwork on this one, but the different styles (every bit Deadpool believes he's going on adventures with different heros - he doesn't realise he's killing them), was quite a nifty thought.

Not the worst comic I've read only not the best 1 either. This is a one-off AU where Deadpool once over again kills the Curiosity universe. I think the execution of the outset comic was a lot improve. This one had creative moments (view spoiler)[I liked how the art style would change while we were in Deadpool's head. (hide spoiler)], just in a lot of ways it fell flat.

As well information technology was just kind of pitiful?

I love Deadpool and this collection.... was very... shit. Information technology was shit. In order to kill off all the Marvel characters, their IQs and powers all of a sudden shrink and they are no match for Deadpool... puhleaze. At least be inventive well-nigh it. As somewhat light-headed these Deadpool Kills books tend to exist, this turned out to exist a fairly interesting spin on the concept that gave more than purpose to Deadpool'southward lethal actions versus a contrived plot device villain or whatever. Information technology'south not exactly loftier literature, but information technology is quite clever how they came up with so many creative means to kill Curiosity characters together with some very interesting Elseworlds-fashion hallucinations for him that could have been fun spin-offs on their own in some cases. Closer to a four than a 2.
It's a curt but fun story that fixes a handful of flaws in the original while besides tying in to a whole other series (no spoilies)
Biggest flaw is still the fact that most characters are killed in simply a few panels, and it really hurts the thrill of watching these characters fight. Overall, I'd recommend it if y'all got a copy cheap, or just needed to kill a half hour in the city with money to fire.

Why isn't this Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe? Considering when Deadpool is killing anybody, he is hallucinating. And the hallucinations are kind of interesting. Simply the residual of the book?
